We are delighted to have David Lambert join us and share some do’s and don’ts of business relationships by drawing parallels to personal relationships. David is one of the co-authors of Smarter Selling, which has sold over 20,000 copies since being published in 2007. This business book “which turns accepted wisdom on its head”, looks at personal behaviors, making that first impression and examines how other people really see you. Smarter Selling has been translated from English into five languages, with a Chinese version scheduled to be released next year.
David moved to Hong Kong in 1995 and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he worked until 2003, holding positions as Business Development Director, Marketing and Communications Director and, finally, Head of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Leadership Academy.
David holds a first degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Training and Human Resource Management. He is an accredited trainer for Think on Your Feet�, Better Buyer Relationships™, the Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI™), and the Octagon™ Behavioural Profile. David is also a Certified Master Coach (Behavioural Coaching Institute). David is also a founding shareholder and Director of IOWEU International, a networked training and coaching business that delivers sales and relationship learning programmes in 22 countries worldwide.
David divides his time between Europe and Asia, speaking at conferences and in-house seminars, coaching and consulting to senior executives, facilitating strategy meetings and delivering training workshops.The purpose of this gathering is to bring together an interesting mix of professionals from different industries and backgrounds to hear & share some thoughts on business and personal relationships…who knows where this may lead???
